Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny returns after injury to start for Egypt in Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations final against Cameroon in Libreville, Gabon.
Elneny missed the Pharaohs’ quarter-final win against Morocco with a calf problem that also kept him out of their penalty shoot-out win against Burkina Faso in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, the Greek-based midfielder Amr Warda starts for the first time at the tournament, while centre-back Ahmed Hegazy has shaken off an injury in time to line up in defence.
Cameroon coach Hugo Broos sticks with the same starting line-up as in Thursday’s 2-0 semi-final win against Ghana.
