Reports indicate that Crystal Palace have had an audacious €38m bid accepted by Marseille for striker Michy Batshuayi in what looks to be their first signing of the season.

The Belgian striker who scored 17 goals last season for Marseille is being pursued by Juventus and West Ham but Crystal Palace are hopeful of signing him as reports indicate that Marseille’s President has accepted the offer.

Alan Pardew will be hoping to wrap up the transfer of the 22 year old in the coming days as he is also said to be actively pursuing 31 year old goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.

Pardew is also thought to be considering triggering Andros Townsend’s £10.5m release clause in what might be a big summer triple swoop for the Eagles.
