South African police are searching for Victor Hlayisani Shivambu, suspected of fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend, Mihloti Faith Shikhibana, in Nkowankowa township near Tzaneen.
The incident occurred on Monday, 21 April 2025, around 12:30 PM.
Police were alerted after the victim was brought to Letaba Hospital with multiple stab wounds and was declared dead on arrival.
Investigations revealed she was attacked at her home by Shivambu, who fled the scene immediately after.
The motive behind the attack remains unknown.
Police have urged Shivambu, a resident of the Malamulele area, to surrender to the nearest station.
