“You Must Be Battle-Ready When Facing Tinubu, Wike” – Dele Momodu

Media mogul Dele Momodu has warned potential contenders in the 2027 presidential election, stating that taking on President Bola Tinubu and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike will be an extremely challenging feat.

“Tinubu, who is already president, even when he was not president, we faced a lot of fire. Now, when you have Tinubu and Wike on one side, then it means you have to be battle-ready.

“you have to assemble all your weapons and be ready for the battle ahead because 2027 is going to be like the World Cup, and you need your best players.”

Momodu made the statement on Monday during an interview, where he expressed concern about the disunity within the opposition, particularly following the decision by PDP governors to reject a proposed coalition involving Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Nasir El-Rufai. He referred to this move as a major setback to any serious challenge against the APC.

He emphasised that no single politician can win the presidency alone, urging opposition figures to put aside personal ambitions and collaborate for a common cause.

He also condemned the prevailing atmosphere of fear within the opposition, where many politicians are said to be intimidated by the threat of political persecution.

Calling for courage and unity, Momodu urged leaders to resist the urge to defect, stressing that political success in 2027 will require unity, strategy, and determination.
