“Tinubu’s Trip To France Not Medical Related” – Presidency Insists

Special Adviser to President on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has insisted that President Bola Tinubu’s visitation to France has no connection with health challenge as claimed by opposition.

Mr. Bwala led this out on Sunday, during an interview with Channels Television.

He emphasized that President Tinubu departed Nigeria to France on the 2nd of April, 2025 on working visit and not to treat himself.

INFORMATION NIGERIA learnt that Mr. Bwala’s statement is coming following a claim made by a controversial human rights activist and politician, Omoyele Sowore, saying that the President’s trip to France was for medical attention.

He said: “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has fled Nigeria again to France, for medical care, although some liars in his office claim he is on a working visit.

“It is troubling to know that approximately 200 million Nigerians may be repeatedly subjected to misinformation disseminated daily, and they, in turn, do nothing to liberate themselves”.

Reacting to Sowore’s claim, Bwala said that there was no iota of truth in the statement.
