Controversial social media figure, Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has reacted to circulating claims that he was bounced from Obi Cubana’s extravagant 50th birthday celebration and allegedly deported from China.
The rumour gained attention after media personality Radiogad alleged online that VDM, who lives in Abuja, was neither invited to the star-studded party in the capital nor welcomed when he tried to attend uninvited.
Radiogad also used the moment to throw shade at VDM and other public figures, such as actor Yul Edochie and Judy Austin, who were reportedly missing from the guest list.

Addressing the rumours, VDM took to social media on Sunday to deny all allegations, insisting that the story was fabricated by those hoping to see him fall.
He wrote, “Them don wait for my downfall e no come, them sit down plan am, the plan fail, now them dey cook story to create their happiness…pitiful, VDM nak man they will post proof till today nothing, VDM nak underage till today nothing, VDM buy cars with NGO money they will post proof till now, nothing, they have submitted proof to EFCC till today nothing….”
He described the claims that he tried to crash the event as completely unfounded and lacking any solid evidence.
VDM also dismissed comments made by actor Uche Maduagwu, who alleged he was deported from China. He labelled the claim as yet another falsehood being spread to tarnish his name.
“next thing they say them deport me from China, we wait no proof and now them say them bounce me from party,…. the thing is they waiting for my downfall, it didn’t happen, then they decided to plan my downfall, the plan failed, then they decided to create a story to make them happy…pitiful just GOOGLE THE RATEL,” he added.
