Nigerian singer Emmanuel Adewale, popularly known as Mayorkun, has suggested that he is considering leaving the country.
Taking to his X handle on Monday, the Afrobeats star simply wrote, “I dey reason to japa [relocate],” sparking reactions from fans.
While he did not give further details on his reasons, his post adds to the ongoing trend of Nigerian entertainers moving abroad.

Over the years, several celebrities have relocated overseas for different reasons. Notable names who have reportedly left include Tacha, Eldee, Dr. Sid, Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Rita Dominic, Uche Jombo, and Emeka Ike.
Although Mayorkun has not confirmed any definite plans, his statement has fueled speculation about a possible move.
