Nigerian Afrobeats star Wizkid has shared his approval of the Super Eagles’ preparations for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Rwanda in Kigali.
It should be noted that Eric Chelle, the new head coach, conducted his first training session with the Super Eagles on Tuesday.
Responding on his X handle on Wednesday, Wizkid shared his admiration for the new Super Eagles squad under Chelle’s leadership.

“New Super Eagles team! love the energy ,” he tweeted.
The World Cup qualifying match is set to be held at the Amahoro Stadium in Rwanda at 5 PM Nigerian time on Friday, March 21.
Following the match, Nigeria will host Zimbabwe in Uyo on Tuesday, March 25.
The Super Eagles must win both matches to maintain their chances of qualifying for the World Cup.
