Timaya Calls For Immediate Action As Herders Destroy Farmlands In Bayelsa

Nigerian afrobeats singer Timaya has expressed concern over reports of herders destroying plants and farmlands in his home state of Bayelsa.

He urged the government to take immediate action, describing the destruction of farmlands as deeply troubling.

The Dem Mama singer also condemned open grazing, calling on the herders to confine their cattle to ranches.

On his X handle on Tuesday, he wrote, “Pls the government should do something. They are destroying farms in Bayelsa. Aboki, take your in cow inside and feed them. This is so sad.”
