Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, has officially joined TikTok, marking a new step in his digital outreach.
The announcement came on Tuesday when Obi shared the news via his X handle, urging his followers to connect with him on the popular platform.

Obi used the platform to reaffirm his commitment to the vision of a new and prosperous Nigeria, emphasising the importance of collective action in making this vision a reality.
“This is my official and only TikTok page. Kindly join me towards building a new Nigeria that is possible,” Obi said in the video.
With this move, Obi expands his presence on social media, where he has already been an influential figure. His entry into the TikTok space comes as part of a broader strategy to engage with a younger, more digitally active audience, building support for his political ideals.
