Two brothers, Philips and Charles Igbodo, have been apprehended by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly stealing five sacks of cement in the state’s Idiroko region.
Omolola Odutola, the command spokesperson, said in a statement issued Thursday that the brothers were first captured by an Amotekun Corps member.
Philips, a security officer at a nearby hospital in the community, was accused of stealing bags of cement from a construction site.

Odutola stated, “A member of Amotekun reported the incident at the Idiroko Police Division on Thursday. The suspects were caught with five bags of cement.
“One of them, Philips, who serves as a security guard at a hospital in the area, has confessed to the crime. The stolen cement is believed to have been taken from a construction site.”
She further stated that the suspects remain in police custody while investigations continue.
