Renowned American rapper Tyler, The Creator has sparked online excitement after releasing his new song titled “Noid,” which features lyrics in Chichewa.
The song is now trending in Zambia and Malawi as the language used is fluently spoken in these two countries.
“Pobwera panyumba panga Uyenera kukhala ndi Ulemu,Chifukwa ine sindifuna vokamba kamba, Vokamba kamba vileta pamlomo”, sings the artist.
However, it has been noted that Tyler has sampled 1980 track “Nizaka Panga Ngozi” by the legendary Zambian group, Ngozi Family.
The song’s chorus borrows the actual vocals of bandleader Paul Ngozi who was died in 1989.
