Rapper and actor Falz took to Instagram recently to honor the fallen protesters that participated in the 2020 EndSars protest that took place on the 20th of October.
In his post, Falz wrote;
”We will never forget the real heroes. Some of the bravest Nigerians that have ever lived.
We will never forget their ultimate sacrifice
For on this day, four years ago, they redefined patriotism. May their souls rest”
Falz was one of the forerunners of the EndSars protest in 2020, even going as far as leading the protest on more than one occasion, and sharing food for protesters.
On social media, Falz led a heavy campaign, vying for the attention of the government to dissolve SARS as a body.
Other celebrities like Davido, Wizkid, Tacha, and Mr Macaroni also spearheaded the protest both online and physically.
Falz’a post about the protest spurred a lot of reactions online, with netizen sharing their own input about the tragic event.
