Nigerian Rapper CDQ has weighed into the never-ending feud between music stars Davido and Wizkid.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that Davido and Wizkid had attended the same club last night in the UK, London. According to reports online, the music stars ran into each other at a club in London but snubbed each other. Sources said Davido was at the club relaxing when Wizkid walked in with his crew, but they didn’t exchange pleasantries. To the surprise of many, the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner left almost immediately, leaving Davido and his crew at the club.
Videos online captured the moment Wizkid and his crew walked into the club while Davido and his gang were relaxing.
Taking to his Instagram story, CDQ compared the singers to husband and wīfe, who would keep fighting till thy kingdom come. He admonished anyone not to interfere in their fight as he believed the singers were just playing.
“Woss. Dem no dey put mouth for Wiz n David fight. Ori e lon ma fi I go gbeyin. Just let them play 2 of dem be like husband n wīfe till thy kingdom come”.
Wizkid and Davido have been at each other’s necks since the beginning of their careers.The last big fight was in April when Wizkid posted the infamous video of Davido kneeling and begging his alleged side chick. Davido clapped back, accusing Wizkid of domestically abusing his girlfriend and baby mama, Jada Pollock, while Wizkid taunted him for begging for s#x from one of his multiple side chicks.
In October, Wizkid went on an extensive rant over Davido. For over 24 hours, Wizkid threw shots at Davido by cussing him out and stating that Davido’s career was wack. Wizkid also said that people around Davido are all broke, but they keep following him around and flying to different countries.
In another tweet, he stated that Davido wasn’t at his level when it came to music, dressing, and finances. He further said that Davido, being a 001, was only in his house and that he doesn’t make more money than anybody in the music industry.
His October rant drew many reactions from celebrities. Actress, Shan George had shared a photo of Davido. Calling him 001, she quoted his unavailable song, implying that Davido is unavailable for Wizkid.
Big Brother Naija winner Phyna got dragged for hailing Wizkid as she called him her father. Reacting to it, Phyna expressed joy at how her tweet was making people mad, as she stated that people should be paying her for the distracting them against the country’s problem.
Talent manager Paulo Okoye also got dragged and described their actions as shameful. He urged them to stop with the beef and noted how they would regret it in 20 years.
Music executive Soso Soberekon hailed Davido for being the most endorsed Nigerian artist, and he even compared his influence to the likes of footballer Mo Salah.
Do2dtun described their beef as one of the longest rivalries in the history of Nigerian entertainment as he expressed how tired he was of their continuous beef.
