There’s a tug of war in the music industry which is currently going on between Seun Kuti and music producer SamKlef.
SamKlef took to social media not too long ago to call out Seun Kuti, who had dismissively said in an interview that he didn’t know who the popular music producer was.
In his post, SamKlef mocked Seun Kuti, and accused him of not being able to match up to his father’s musical prowess.
Also, SamKlef said that Seun Kuti’s songs are wack, and that his only reprieve is the backup dancers and instrumentalists who cover up for his lack of talent.
Going forward, SamKlef said that without his father Fela Kuti’s name, Seun Kuti doesn’t have any song that is worthy of note.
Recall that during an interview with Bae_U, Seun Kuti said he doesn’t know who SamKlef is, and this must have struck a chord in the music producer’s chest for him to come up with such a clap back.
Seun Kuti isn’t SamKlef’s first adversary in the music industry, as he has had his fair share of beefs with celebrities.
One of the most recent is Davido, and this occurred because of a rumor that was circulating the internet.
The rumor was that Burnaboy had snubbed Davido while they were in Ghana, and this seemed to please SamKlef a lot, as he made a post about it, hailing Burnaboy for standing his ground and refusing to reconcile with Davido.
