Nollywood actress and filmmaker Wumi Toriola has set the record to race her colleague Funke Akindele in the box office.
A few minutes ago, Wumi Toriola announced that her trending movie which is currently streaming on the big screen across Nigeria, has garnered a whopping hundred million and some Naira.
The movie became the highest opening mvoei for a non holiday film and highest by a distributor.
Sharing the news on her official social media page, Wumi Toriola expressed how thrilled and grateful she is to her incredible fans who helped her achieved the feat.
The mother of one further begged Nigerians to stream the movie with promises that they would not regret the experience.

Her recent record of over one billion Naira was achieved with A Tribe Called Judah in 2023.
