Nigerian comedian, writer, and motivational speaker, Francis Agoda better known as I Go Dye has recounted how he slept in a brothel in Port Harcourt.
In a lengthy post on his Instagram page, the comedian revealed that he had no choice but to sleep in a brothel, as he couldn’t afford to get a room hotel.
According to him, the incident happened 23 years ago after he performed at a Comedy event, where he was paid 10k which he never knew included his accommodation, transportation, and feeding.
It was when he got to Port Harcourt, he learned that the fee included the aforementioned, and the least hotel in the city at that time was N5k, which left him with no alternative but to find comfort in a brothel.
The main reason for his story was to encourage his fans and followers to never give up and keep their faith alive.
“I slept in brothel 23 years ago in PH because I had no more for accommodation.

On this day, I wasn’t able to sleep in a hotel because I was paid 10k months, before the event, I didn’t know my accommodation, transportation, and feeding were part of the 10k. It was when I got to PH that I was informed, about my logistic. The cheapest hotel I could get was 5k and I only had 2k with me. 10k don almost finished since October when dem give me. The only option available was to cross to a joint where runs girls were staying. The one I met for the accommodation requested for 1k but insisted that the space to sleep will be available by 2 am when all her customers don come finished so I agreed. After my performance I went there to sleep, my greatest surprise was that around 5 am person still come knock door come wipe, and she say make I wait for outside for 30 minutes. Na the noise make me go Water like that morning find motor when dey go Warri. This is just a simple story for anyone to understand that no matter the difficulty you are going through today, there’s a brighter day ahead.
