Twitter Set To Change Logo—Elon Musk

Elon Musk said on Sunday that he was looking to change Twitter’s logo. In a post on his verified Twitter account, the microblogging site’s boss wrote, “And soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds”.
He further revealed that the current ‘bird’ logo may be replaced with the letter ‘X’. In a series of tweets, Musk wrote, “If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we will make go live worldwide tomorrow.”
The tech entrepreneur stated that the choice of the new logo is, “To embody the imperfections in us all that make us unique.”
Gov Adeleke Calls For Security Vigilance

The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has called on residents of the state to be vigilant and security conscious.
This is as he assured that his administration has taken precautions to secure the state.
In a message to the residents of the state signed by his Spokesperson Olawale Rasheed on Sunday, Governor Adeleke said he has directed the heads of security agencies to deploy proactive crime and terrorism prevention strategies in response to alleged security threats reported by the intelligence community.

Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, will likely unveil the names of the ministerial nominees at plenary this week.
Plenaries at both chambers of the National Assembly are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
There has been serious agitation over the delay of President Bola Tinubu in constituting his cabinet two months after his inauguration.
According to a new amendment to the 1999 Constitution, the President and governors must submit the names of persons nominated as ministers or commissioners within 60 days of taking the oath of office for confirmation by the Senate or the respective state Houses of Assembly.

Following the increases in fuel pump price, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, says it is thinking about a local alternative, a remedy that will help Nigeria mitigate the hardship brought upon the people by the removal of subsidy on petroleum products.
National President of IPMAN, Comrade Chinedu Okoronkwo, while featuring in a television programme monitored by Sunday Vanguard, says there is no better alternative for a country transiting from PMS than gas which, according to him, the country has in abundance and wasting. He also laments that independent marketers are managing to survive in the business.
