The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday, met Nigerian Vice-President, Kashim Shettima, at a wedding ceremony in Abuja. ( Sahara Reporters July 15, 2023 ).
This happens to be one of the rare meetings between the duo since the legal dispute began over the 2023 presidential election. Recall that Atiku is currently challenging the victory of the All Progressive Congress in the February 25th election, under which Kashim Shettima ran on a joint ticket with President Tinubu.
According to Sahara Reporters, In the latest development, Atiku met with Kashim Shettima as they settled their political differences aside and exchanged pleasantries at a wedding between Mohammed (Ameer) Bunu and Ikramullah Jamal Arabi.
Aside from the two politicians, some other prominent personalities who graced the wedding ceremony which took place at the Al-Nur Mosque in the nation’s capital were Maj General Babagana Monguno (rtd), former National Security Adviser, and Prof Ali Isa Pantami, immediate Past Minister of Communication and Digital Economy.
