Reactions As Owner Of CBT Centre That Ejikeme Took Her Exam Reveals 2 Red Flags He Saw In Her Result

A former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, has said that he observed 2 significant red flags when he saw the result of Mmesoma Ejikeme online. Chidoka pointed this out in a recent statement which he released concerning the ongoing saga between the 19-year-old candidate, Mmesoma Ejikeme, and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Chidoka, who is the owner of the Computer-Based Testing (CBT) Centre that Mmesoma Ejikeme sat for her examination, said that the centre has been involved with the JAMB examination since 2016, and that he has come to trust the integrity of the online examination platform of JAMB.

In the report which was made by The Punch and Channels Television, Chidoka said – “I observed two significant red flags when I saw the result online. First, our centre is no longer addressed as Thomas Chidoka Centre for Human Development on the JAMB portal since 2021.

“The correct name on the JAMB portal and Main Examination Slip is Nkemefuna Foundation (Thomas Chidoka Centre for Human Development). Due to the difference in our CAC registration details, JAMB insisted we change to Nkemefuna Foundation with Thomas Chidoka in a bracket as an identifier. We implemented the name change in 2021.”

Chidoka said that Ejikeme’s result only carried Thomas Chidoka without the Nkemefuna Foundation, which was on her main examination slip. He said that when he saw that, it raised his suspension about the authenticity of the result.

Speaking about the second red flag he observed, he added – “The second red flag was the result template. A cursory review of some of those who took the last examination at our centre showed a different result slip template with the candidate’s passport picture, JAMB watermarks, and no mention of the name of the examination centre. I gave the young Mmesoma the benefit of the doubt and waited to see if she would explain how she got the result, which is obviously not the result template that JAMB used in 2023. I knew it was fake.”

Chidoka urged Mmesoma Ejikeme to come clean and explain how she got the result that she paraded, as he added that if he does that, he would lend his voice and beg JAMB to consider her age and show some leniency.

The statement from Chidoka has been generating mixed reactions from members of the public, and many have taken to the comments section to share their views on the issue. Some suggested that an independent investigation should be conducted to unveil the truth.

Below are some of the reactions from people:

Mmesoma Ejikeme had claimed that she scored 362 in this year’s UTME, a claim that JAMB had debunked. The examination board said that she scored 249, and not 362. The board later slammed her with a three-year ban for allegedly forging her result, and withdrew her result from her.
