“Now I am gone past that phase” Kemi Afolabi speaks as she returns from Hajj

Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi has spoken about her strength as she returns from the Holy Pilgrimage.

The actress shared photos of herself boarding a flight at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Kemi Afolabi accompanied her photos with gratitude to God, revealing how she doubted her strength and how she overcame the phase of fear.

She wrote, “ALIHAMDULILAH ROBIL – AL AMEEN.

First, I doubted my strength! Now I am gone past that phase!

Thank you YAh ROSULULAH (S.A.W).”

On Instagram, the mother of one lamented the stress she went through after attending two events of her colleagues on the same day.

The actress shared a video that captured her in the company of her newfound bestie, Mercy Aigbe, at Iyabo Ojo and her children’s store launching and the Adeniyi Johnson’s twins’ ceremony.

Kemi Afolabi asked her fans how they were able to cope with attending two events on the same day, stating she is sick from not resting in between. She, however, congratulated Iyabo Ojo, Adeniyi Johnson and Seyi Edun for their celebrations.

She wrote: Two events in one day abeg how una dey run am wallahi mo ti sick.

Kemi Afolabi opens up on her discovery of lupus

Over a year ago, Kemi Afolabi opened up on her discovery of lupus and what she had been through.

The beautiful Yoruba actress made this known to the public via an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, where she disclosed that she had been diagnosed with lupus and had just five more years to live.

“I have lupus. It’s not curable. You just have to take medications for the rest of your life. At a point, I was exhausted after spending so much; I said I would stop and just wait for death to come ….but I brazed up for my daughter and have to continue spending the N1.2 million on the medication doze weekly to survive….I have sold my cars, property, capital for business etc…..and Funke Akindele has been helpful, Toyin Abraham, Mercy Aigbe and others reached out and have been there…but I still need more support to be able to continue with my medication…”.
