Ways Arsenal Can Compete On All Fronts Next Season.

At the beginning of the 2022/23 season, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea were considered the three favorites to compete for the Premier League title mainly because they invested heavily and also possess top class managers.

But out of nowhere, Arsenal mounted a serious title challenge that almost saw them become champions of England for the first time since 2004.

Part of the reason Arsenal bottled the league last term was due to lack of a proper game changer capable of winning games on his own. So if The Gunners really want to compete on all fronts this campaign, here are two ways they can do it.

1. Lure Kylian Mbappé.

The idea of bringing Mbappé to the Emirates may seem farfetched, but he looks like the missing piece to a star-studded team Mikel Arteta is gradually assembling.

Mbappé is not just capable of scoring goals but can also create chances on his own, and considering the fact he was the only player to reach 50 goals in Europe last season asides Haaland, Arsenal will benefit greatly from his goals if they can convince him to join.

2. Sign David de Gea.

Arsenal’s current goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale do not have the same wealth of experience as de Gea who’s now officially a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Manchester United.

For the record, de Gea is a proven shot-stopper who has won the Premier League as well as the Golden Glove for most clean sheets TWICE.

Goals win you games, and solid defence wins you trophies, so while Mbappé scores the goals for Arsenal, de Gea will be tasked with keeping clean sheets for The Gunners.

But it’s up to the decision-makers at Arsenal to ensure these two players are recruited.
