Paris Summit: Imagine if Tinubu had made the type of speech Kenyan President delivered -Chuks

Chuks Akunna, Executive Director, Authority Newspaper, said that with the kind of rousing welcome President Tinubu received just for going to Paris, imagine if Tinubu had made the type of speech Kenyan President delivered.

Chuks Akunna made the assertion in an interview with AIT during the Kakaaki program when he was asked to react to what President Tinubu said that under his watch Nigeria will prosper and his visit to Paris.

Chuks Akunna said that we heard the same story when Buhari took over, and he said he belong to nobody but he belong to everybody and that Nigeria will prosper.

“Our leaders are used to cramming, President Tinubu has not shown any sign that he want to tighten his belt. On the one hand he’s telling us to tighten our belts and he began by forcing us to tighten our belts. Talking about the removal of petrol subsidy.”

“To be clear, I’m not sure the 100 vehicles belong to Tinubu’s convoy, if you recall, we had the NSA, chief of staff, Lagos state governor…But I want to call this entertainment.”

“We all saw the mercurial performance of the President of South Africa at the just concluded Paris summit, our president was sleeping at the summit and he comes back. Imagine if we had given Tinubu Such a rousing welcome because he went to Paris and he returned to Nigeria, imagine if he had made the kind of speech Kenyan President delivered.”

He then said that Tinubu can not be telling Nigerian to tighten its belt while he is losing his own.
