Dokpesi and I were schoolmates at Loyola College Ibadan during the Civil war – Pat Utomi

A Chieftain of the Labour Party, Pat Utomi has recently taken to his social media page to mourn the demise of Raymond Dokpesi, the Founder of DAAR Communications and African Independent Television (AIT), a multimedia Company in Nigeria. According to reports, Raymond Dokpesi was said to have died after suffering a health challenge.

The death of the Nigerian businessman has left many people in shock. While reacting to the death of the Nigerian Business tycoon, Pat Utomi recalled that he and the deceased used to be schoolmates back in their secondary school days and that his death is a tragic loss.

Pat Utomi said: “What a tragic loss. Dokpesi and I were schoolmates at Loyola College Ibadan during the Civil war. When as Maritime Engineer he fell in love with Media he sought me out. Served on Board of his first Media venture Maritime Digest. With Emeka Enejere we spent time curating Democracy.”
