Media personality, Shade Ladipo has thrown shade at Basketmouth while congratulating Ayo Makun on his National Honor award.
In a post on her Instagram story, Shade revealed that the only thing the former president, Muhammad Buhari did for her is to award Ay a National Honor before Basketmouth.
Though, she didn’t mention the ace comedian’s name, many knew she was referring to him as she mentioned the N30k that caused Ay’s rift with Basketmouth.
Praising Ay, she stated that the comedian and actor have been constantly undervalued.
Shading Basketmouth, she stated that he has more pride than the second richest man in the world, Elon Musk.
According to her, Basketmouth doesn’t have anything in his pocket and is spending the little he has on his alleged girlfriend.
“The only thing that Bubu did for me was to award AY over that Uncle 30k.
Truly AY has been constantly undervalued.
That other uncle has more pride than Elon Musk meanwhile nothing dey his pocket.
I hope the new smallie he’s carrying will finish his money so we can rest”.
Ayo Makun reintroduces himself as he reacts to his national honor award
Kemi Filani reported minutes ago that Famous Nigerian stand-up comedian, Ayodeji Makun, simply known as AY, had reintroduced himself as he reacted to his national honor awards.
Ayo Makun shared the news on his official Instagram page, expressing delight on waking up to the heartwarming news from his manager, who informed him about being listed amongst notable Nigerians to receive a national honor.
The comedian cum actor revealed that he was recently awarded the Most Outstanding Comedy Personality of A Decade, and he is delighted to be able to receive one of the highest honors a citizen can receive from his or her country.
Sharing the good news online, Ayo Makun reintroduced himself as “Dr. Richard Ayodeji Makun (MFR).”

Recall that AY, in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, went down memory lane in 2006 when he was still a bachelor and trying to earn a living for himself. He said he stood in for Basketmouth at an event however he didn’t receive his pay of thirty thousand Naira which was gold at the time. Read more here.
He also recounted how he was embarrassed and humiliated at Basketmouth’s wedding.
According to him, he had attended his wedding with his wife but was shocked when he wasn’t allowed to enter the event, as his name wasn’t on the list of guests.
Surprisingly, his wife was allowed to enter as her name was on the guest list. Since her husband couldn’t go in, his wife turned down the invite.
He further revealed how his name would be kicked out of events because Basketmouth was in attendance.
However, Basketmouth had something different to say.
