According to a news published by daily Post Nigeria, The Governing Board has been dissolved, Daily Post reported, and it is effective right away. The announcement of the dissolution was made in a statement dated May 19, 2023, and signed by Samuel Ayanleye Aina, Head of Service for Osun State. The statement was obtained by DAILY POST on May 20, 2023, in Osogbo.
The state government expressed appreciation for the council members’ selfless service and dedication to the advancement of the University in the statement. The statement reads, “Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, has approved the dissolution of Osun State University Governing Council with immediate effect.
The Governor expresses his gratitude to the council members for their selfless service and dedication to the university while also praising them greatly for their contributions to the development of the university in particular and the state in general. He also wishes them luck in their future endeavors”.
