“A lot of people turned back because….” IK Ogbonna recalls one of the saddest days of his life

Nollywood actor, IK Ogbonna has recalled his colleagues’ support for him during the death of his mother and her burial.

Kemi Filani reported in January that the light-skinned actor had lost his beloved mother.

One month after the burial, IK Ogbonna penned an appreciation to his colleagues who supported him, specifically his best friend, Alex Ekubo.

Noting how that day remains one of his saddest days, he recalled how some of his friends came through to put a smile on his face

IK Ogbonna revealed that many guests turned back because of the shootout between unknown gunmen and the police, but some men and women came through the storm for him.

“On one of the saddest days of my life. A few friends came through to put a smile on my face. A lot of guests turned back because of the shootout between UGM and the police. But these men and women came through the storm and I appreciate you all. I also want to appreciate those that couldn’t make it; I pray my state can at least give us an airport. I also had a solid support group that couldn’t come in person. But did everything possible to make sure my mother was laid to rest peacefully. God bless you, I can’t list out ur names here but I am eternally grateful.

@alexekubo and @vintagedeluxeinteriors, may God bless you for me; you were there from day one until my mother was laid to rest and afterward. You are my brother for life.

REST IN PEACE SWEET MOM”.
