Few moments ago, Real Madrid locked horns with Osasuna in the final of the Copa Del Rey and it was a good night for Carlo Ancelotti and his men as they won the game 2-1 to cling the trophy.
Brazilian Wonderkid, Rodrygo opened the scoreline for Real Madrid just 2 minutes into the game but Osasuna fought back and found an equalizer in the 58th minutes. Rodrygo found the back of the net again in the 70th minutes and that was all Madrid needed to cling the trophy. Few minutes after the game, the Spanish Giant took to their official Instagram page to share a photo of French Forward, Karim Benzema sitting on the throne and also being surrounded with trophies and they accompanied it with a caption which read: “King Karim Benzema, 25 trophies and still counting”, Madrid wrote and it stirred massive reactions from football fans across the globe.
Benzema have now won all the trophies at club level ranging from the UEFA Champions League to the Super Cup to the Spanish La Liga to the FIFA Club World Cup amongst others, he has now won 25 trophies for Real Madrid since joining them and he’s not showing signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Recall that Karim Benzema joined Real Madrid in 2009 and ever since then, he has been Instrumental for them. He has done so much for the club within the last couple of years and he will never be forgotten by the fans as he is considered as one of their greatest player ever.
