The victim which was to be exploited of his kidney by the former deputy senate president, David Nwamini, has broken silence, says he doesn’t want to return to his home country, Nigeria for reason best known to him.
If you recall vividly, the United Kingdom court had earlier on Friday, sentenced Sen. Ike Ekweremadu to nine years and eight month imprisonment, and his wife, Beatrice Ekweremadu to four years and six months imprisonment and the doctor, ten years imprisonment, over a plot to harvest a kidney from the victim for their daughter, Sonia Ekweremadu.
However, in an address to the court, David Nwamini revealed that he was his shock when he discovered that the reason for his trip to the United Kingdom was to harvest his organ to give his daughter, adding that they approached him with the offer of working in the United Kingdom but never told him about the exploitation and even if he was told, he wouldn’t have agreed because his body is not for sale.
