I do not like the Way Janemena & Korra Obidi are Seducing People Daily- Ossai Success

Ossai Ovie Success, the Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Media, recently expressed his disapproval of the dance being posted on social media platforms by Nigerian dancers Jane Mena and Korra Obidi. The two dancers had uploaded videos of themselves dancing at Mena’s house in Delta State, which were subsequently criticized by Success in a Facebook post.

Success opined that the dancers were not adding value to the youth and their activities on social media were increasing deviant behaviors among young people. He lamented that they were more interested in making money online than adding value to humanity, and he urged them to change their ways and produce that would benefit young people.

While everyone is entitled to their opinion, Success’ criticism seems to be misplaced. Dancing is a form of art and expression, and many dancers use social media to showcase their talent and build a following. It is unfair to criticize them for doing what they love and sharing it with others. Moreover, it is not the responsibility of dancers or any individual on social media to provide value to humanity. While it is commendable to produce that benefits others, it is not an obligation.

In conclusion, Success should focus on supporting the youth and promoting positivity rather than criticizing others for their creative expressions. Everyone has the right to express themselves in their own way, and it is not up to anyone else to dictate what is or isn’t valuable.
