It’s unfortunate for Nigerians to hear that Peter Obi’s identity was cloned- Nana Kazaure

Nana Kazaure, the spokesperson of the Obi/Datti campaign council, has expressed her disappointment over the news that the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, had his identity cloned after his visit to the United Kingdom.

She believes that this news is demoralizing for Nigerians as it sends a message that their private information stored in the Nigerian database is not safe. She has stated that this is a security matter that the National Security Council needs to address.

Kazaure has also emphasized that only the Nigerian government has access to the information in the National Database. Therefore, questions need to be raised about how Mr. Obi’s passport was cloned. She has called for an investigation into this matter to ensure the safety of the data in the Nigerian database. Mr. Obi, on the other hand, has not made any further comments on the issue after his release by UK immigration.

“It is disheartening for Nigerians to wake up in the morning and hear that Peter Obi’s identity has been cloned. That is a huge omission of our security, who can breach Nigeria’s security in such a manner? Everything is being thrown at us at any point in time, the kitchen sink and we are wondering why”.

According to Mr. Obi, the Nigerian government should be held responsible for this incident. He believes that they are the only ones who have access to the National Database and can provide answers as to how his passport was cloned. He has also expressed concern about the breach of Nigeria’s security and the ability of anyone to access the country’s database in such a manner.
