Nollywood actress, Biola has revealed the name of her son, who she welcomed a week ago.
Taking to her Instagram page to share an adorable video of her, her husband as their bundle of joy, Biola Bayo announced to the world her son’s name.
The new parents christened him Tioluwanimi, meaning I AM OF THE LORD; ASHA meaning Blessed and Joyful and IRETIDE meaning Goodness has come.
She added that you can shortened his name to Nimi or Asha.
“…..and his name shall be called; TIOLUWANIMI meaning I AM OF THE LORD
ASHA (A-SHA) meaning BLESSED, JOYFUL
IRETIDE meaning GOODNESS HAS COME
You can call him NIMI or BABY ASHA as in A-sha, or BABY TA.
To the glory of God I am officially Mummy Nimi (Mummy Tioluwanimi)”.
Biola Bayo tears up a naming ceremony
Kemi Filani reported that for Biola Bayo, her joy knew no bounds at being able to experience motherhood for the first time.
A week after welcoming her son, Biola Bayo held a naming ceremony for him on Sunday, April 16th.
In videos which made rounds, the movie star could be seen shedding tears of joy at the event.
As worship songs was been played at the ceremony, Biola Bayo who was dressed in yellow, broke down in tears as she held tightly to her bundle of joy.
As expected, Yoruba Nollywood stars came out in large number to celebrate with her.
The likes of Lateef Adedimeji and his wife Mo Bimpe, Faithia Williams, Kemi Afolabi, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Shola Kosoko, Allwell Ademola, Adesanya Toyosi, and a host of others graced the event.
Viral videos online captured Nollywood stars arriving at the ceremony and exchanging pleasantries.
In one of the videos, Ronke Oshodi was seen striking a pose with some of her colleagues as she bragged over her love for foods.
In another, Nollywood stars could be seen in a group photo with the celebrant.
Biola Bayo welcomes baby via surrogacy
On Tuesday last week, Biola Bayo had announced the birth of her first child.
The joyous mother shared photos of her son’s feet on Instagram, narrating her painful journey to experience motherhood.
Biola Bayo revealed she had a failed IVG, one canceled surrogate circle, and three failed surrogate attempts within two years before she is blessed with her son.
The new mother is grateful to God for the testimony, her doctors, and the surrogate mother who helped them with their child.
