In his latest prophecies, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele of the Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church (IESC) raised concerns about the Senate presidency among several other issues. He stated that Muslims would retain the Senate presidency if the Igbos do not take the matter seriously and do what was right. The Primate emphasized that his message was from God, and he had never met Senator Orji Uzor Kalu before.
Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele advised opposition parties to form a coalition. He attributed Peter Gregory Obi’s failure to his self-centeredness and miscalculations. The Primate stressed that individuals should recognize that they need to lean on others’ glory to rise, as there are people who need such support. He suggested that if the Labour Party, the People’s Democratic Party, and the New Nigeria People’s Party formed a coalition and presented a single Senate presidential candidate, they could win.
Ayodele added: “God told me that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu (OUK) will be the best for the next administration’s house of senate. God said that if Igbos miss the senate presidency this time, they will miss it for the next twenty one (21) years.”
