Nollywood actress Funke Akindele Bello has made a grand return to social media days after her mother’s death.

Funke Akindele’s return to social media before the February 25th general elections has made netizens shade her colleague Tonto Dikeh.

It is no news that Tonto Dikeh is contesting as a deputy governor in Rivers state.

Funke Akindele shared a video on Instagram, educating her fans on how to vote for her party at the coming election.

The box office queen detailed the right way and approach to making a valid vote for her party.

The two minutes video garnered reactions from fans who applauded her excellent skills.

Fans react as Funke Akindele returns to social media

Many expressed their desires to see Funke Akindele and Jandor emerge as the governor of Lagos state.

Some claimed the actress belonged to the wrong party. However, they would be giving her their vote but not for their presidential candidate.

A user identified as Stankor shaded Tonto Dikeh for concentrating on her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, rather than her political ambitions.

Funke Akindele loses mother

Kemi Filani reported that Funke Akindele had lost her mother.

The news was shared by her sister, Olubunmi Akindele, who disclosed that they lost their mother on the 7th of February.

“It is with heavy hearts, but in total submission to God Almighty, that the ADEBANJO and AKINDELE families announce the passing of their daughter, mother, grandmother and sister. DR. R B ADEBANJO-Akindele, which occurred on Tuesday, 07 February 2023.

May her gentle soul begin its rest eternal in peace. Amen. Obsequies in honour of her passing shall be announced in due course.
