Property Theft: Reactions As Photo Of Yusuf Goes Up For Sale At $760 Without Photographer’s consent

Less than 24 hours after the photo from the OBIDATTI rally in Lagos was taken, it was discovered on a selling platform. Social media users reacted, calling the image the “photo of the day,” and it sparked discussion.

It is no longer news that Yusuf Alabi, a small kid, bravely stood in front of the convoy of labor party presidential candidate Peter Gregory Obi in the viral photo that has spread far and wide since it was taken. When Peter obi confronted Yusuf, he did so with open arms, violating protocol, and was later apprehended.

However, after the image leaked, it was discovered on a selling website. The shot was sold on the marketplace for $760 despite having the logo of the authorized photographer.

Look at the picture on the platform down below.

Pen Drops, a photographer who responded to the situation by shouting, accused the guy of stealing her possessions.

In a letter posted on her Twitter profile on Sunday, she voiced her worry over someone utilizing her work without her permission.

She submitted a piece of writing “It’s not a good idea to display my work without my authorization. I have no idea who this individual is. Please use good judgment; I don’t like Wahala “.

However, many have questioned why someone would go so far as to take credit for other people’s labor ever since the alleged theft was uncovered.
