According to various credible sources, Chelsea are in advanced talks to sign highly-rated Shakhtar Donetsk star Mudryk in upcoming hours.
Arsenal were on the verge of signing the youngster a couple of days ago, however, it seems Chelsea have hijacked the deal.
In this article, we take a look at 3 ways Graham Potter could set up his attack with this youngster. Check it out below:
Option A
Potter could use a 3-4-3 formation with Mudryk playing as an attacking-midfielder, that is, as a No.10. In this case, the trio of Sterling, Kai Havertz and Mason Mount will occupy the positions upfront.
Option B
Another option is for him to play as a left winger. Kai Havertz could remain as a false 9 while Sterling continues on the right wing.
Option C
The third option is for him to be utilized as a false 9 while Mount and Sterling play on the wings.
