“I Bought The Body Parts Of The 26-Year-Old Lady For N2,000 And Used It For Money Rituals” -Suspect

Fatai Jimoh, one of the suspects who was arrested by the Ogun State Police Command on Friday after they were alleged to have killed a 26-year-old lady, Oyindamola Adeyemi has revealed to newsmen the amount that he bought the body parts of the deceased that he used for the money rituals after he was paraded by the Ogun State Police Commissioner, Lanre Bankole.

The suspect, Fatai Jimoh was paraded alongside with eight other criminals who was involved in the death of the innocent lady and they were reported to have butchered her and used her head, legs, heart and hands for money rituals. However, after they were paraded for kidnapping, killing and dismembering the victim’s remains, Fatai Jimoh while speaking to journalists noted that he bought the body parts of the victim for N2,000 before he used it for the money ritual. He further noted that he hasn’t for once killed anyone before and all he only does is to buy the body parts from his customers and use it for money rituals.

While speaking, he said, “I bought the body parts of the 26-year-old lady for N2000 from Oluku and I used it for money rituals. I told him to give me meat and he cut little part of the body for me. I don’t kill people and I have never killed anybody in my life. When we buy Akara or pap, we sprinkle the body parts on the ritual and take it to a three-junction. I learnt this work from my fore-fathers.’

Nevertheless, the suspect pleaded for mercy and forgiveness from the family of the deceased, but the Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Lanre Bankole, disclosed that there is no amount of plea that can stop him from being charged to court and sentenced to death.
