There’s No War Between Peter Obi And Pat Utomi, They know More Than Fighting Over Campaign Funds -LP

The Labour Party has debunked the reports that its Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi and one of its leaders, Prof. Pat Utomi are engaged in a war of words over the party’s campaign funds. The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Comrade Arabambi Abayomi, made this known in a statement on Wednesday.

The party said that the publication was laced with deliberate falsehood while describing it as a coordinated attack launched by “agents, miscreants and political characters loyal to the would soon defunct APC led administration”.

Abayomi went on to say that “the National Chairman of the Labour Party, Bar Julius Abure, its presidential candidate party, Mr Peter Gregory Obi and Prof Pat Utomi are one united, indivisible political families”. He said that “Mr Peter Obi has not instigated any war through Proxies in the party but was rather, busy with how to fix the nation”.

He concluded that Mr Peter Obi and Prof Pat Utomi are responsible leaders who know more than fight over campaign funds. The Labour Party also disassociated itself from a fund-raising platform, tagged FUND40MB.
