Nigerian actor, Emeka Amakaeze, an ardent supporter of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has taken to Twitter to react to the claims made by Deji Adeyanju, a Nigerian activist. According to Deji Adeyanju, other presidential candidates stand no chance against the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu unless they form a merger.
Deji Adeyanju believes that those advising these candidates to go all out and compete against the ruling party without forming a merger are indirectly working for the All Progressives Congress. He went on to say that he won’t stop speaking the truth even if it hurts those that need to hear it.
However, Emeka Amakaeze countered Deji Adeyanju over his tweet. According to him, Deji Adeyanju’s truth doesn’t have to be his truth. He believes that Peter Obi got massive support and doesn’t need a merger to stand a chance at the forthcoming elections.
He wrote;
“Your truth does not have to be my truth or the truth. Did any of you believe that Peter Obi will become a movement today? Peter Obi can win.”
