Pastor Korede Komaiya of The Master’s Place International Church has revealed a major mistake that they made while their ministry was still newly founded. As shared by Church Gist, the cleric has revealed that they made a major mistake in his ministry while they are at the initial stage of the establishment. In his words, the cleric has shared that, at the early stage of his Ministry, they made the mistake of borrowing from the richest member of their church to run the church.
According to the cleric, the decision later had a negative impact as the said rich member started to dictate how the ministry should be run. As shared by the cleric, in his words, the ministry was very broke hence they had to solicit help. He has gone to the said rich man twice to lend them money so that they can do service on Sunday. He had lent 25,000 and later 120,000. He did not collect them back. This according to the cleric, they intended to pay back once they realize some money from the offering. It was so serious that the cleric gave them his wedding ring.
Contrary to the cleric’s thought, the man did not buy into all his entire teachings and preachings. He instead came back two weeks after he had lent the money, that he would be leaving the Church and that sir this thing is not working, said all these things you’re saying is not working and now that it is not working, why don’t you stop using A.C? He advised him to reduce his spending on Generator and AC and that, instead of powering the AC, he should open the windows for natural air. Also, stop, during Sunday service, let them open the window, clap your hands and do your service.
