Gabriel Martinelli Is Overjoyed With His New Arsenal Shirt Number As They Introduce Their New Kit.

Arsenal’s exciting new home kit for the 2022/23 season has been unveiled, and it has a dramatic new collar with a lightning bolt pattern.

In addition, the shirt will be worn with white shorts and white socks with a red lightning bolt running horizontally across them, and will be worn for the first time against Everton on Sunday.

Following the official announcement of next season’s home shirt, it appears that Arsenal prodigy Gabriel Martinelli will no longer wear the number 35 for the club.

The Brazilian international has had a good season with the north Londoners, scoring five Premier League goals and assisting five times in 20 Premier League appearances. Now, according to the club’s online shop, he appears to have been rewarded with a new kit number for next season, with the former Ituano star scheduled to wear the number 11.

Lucas Torreira, a Uruguayan midfielder, was previously handed the number 11 shirt, although he has spent the last two seasons on loan and looks ready to leave the Emirates Stadium permanently this summer. Arsenal has also announced that £5 will be donated to The Arsenal Foundation for local community initiatives for every new home shirt purchased straight from the club ahead of the new season.
