Oparanya’s Partner Alleges What Attackers Were Given to Harm People at Charity Events

Mary Biketi, partner of Cabinet Secretary Wycliffe Oparanya, has publicly condemned a violent attack on a charity event she was attending on Friday, where more than 50 armed goons stormed the venue, disrupted proceedings, and caused widespread destruction.

Biketi expressed her dismay over the attack, emphasizing that her work through the Mary Biketi Foundation is focused on giving back to the community.

“I’m not in any political party, sijesema nataka kiti gani. I’m just helping people,” she stated. “My Mary Biketi Foundation is all about giving back to the community, so when you use other people by giving them drugs and weapons to hurt people, it is not right.”

According to reports, Biketi and her team were ambushed by a group of unidentified assailants while conducting an empowerment initiative aimed at supporting local women and youth.

The attackers targeted her convoy, damaging vehicles, including her high-end SUV.
