He claimed that the Kenya Kwanza government sent goons to attack him during a funeral he attended in Limuru on November 28, 2024, reinforcing his concerns about his safety.

“I can’t sit here and assume that I will not die at one time. I have taken all the necessary precautions and written a letter to my community. The letter contains specific instructions that will be brought to the limelight, should these people succeed in their efforts against me,” Gachagua said.

He also indicated that the letter outlines potential challenges his community could encounter with his absence from the political scene.

“I may not be here tomorrow, and if they succeed in eliminating me, my community must know the path forward,” he said.

The former deputy president said that if his supporters endorse his ideologies, he may consider founding a political party to lead them in their political pursuits for the next 50 years.

“I don’t have to be the one leading them, but I see myself providing them with competent leaders. That way I will have fulfilled my mission,” Gachagua affirmed.
