Former LSK President Nelson Havi Predicts Why Donald Trump Will Get Victory in 2024 US Election

Former Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi has made a bold prediction that former President Donald Trump will win the 2024 U.S. presidential election.

In a post on X , Havi attributed his reasoning to what he perceives as an enduring preference in American voters for a traditional demographic in presidential leadership.

“Vice President Kamala Harris, like Hillary Clinton before her, is not a male White Anglo-Saxon Protestant (WASP). Americans are not about to change now or ever. President Donald Trump will be President again,” Havi stated.

Havi’s comments suggest that he views American society as resistant to electing a leader outside of this profile, implying that Harris, a woman of South Asian and African descent, might face greater challenges in winning over the electorate.

His remarks recall the challenges faced by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who lost to Trump in the 2016 election, despite being a front-runner.

The official election date was on Tuesday and Americans came out in numbers to vote for their preferred candidates.

Donald Trump is battling for the presidency against Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

On Wednesday morning, during the Daybreak show, Journalist Sam Gituku hosted various experts who made comments about the ongoing election in America.

Dr Hassan Khannenje stated during the interview that in America, voters vote based on the domestic policies they trust.

“The United States generally votes on domestic policies and politicians have found it more convenient especially when they deploy social issues, they tend to create a divide,” he said.

Diplomacy expert Ahmed Hashi opined that is likely going to change how Marcia has been governed over the years.

“Trump represents the avenging angel who has come to break down the electoral despotism that has been part of the US culture for the last 100 years,” he stated.
