Latest reports indicates that former Bahati member of parliament Hon Kimani Ngunjiri has predicted possible DP Gachagua’s move should he be saved from ouster by either court or the senate.
Speaking via Monday’s Standard publication, Ngunjiri noted that deputy president Rigathi Gachagua will resign as his budget will be slashed to the bare minimum.
He as well revealed that DP Gachagua’s ruft valley allies might abandon him as his continuous attacks on president William Ruto won’t sit well in the Rift valley region.
” I foresee a situation where he is cut off from the government activities, with his budget slashed to the bare minimum. His close allies will also feel the heat of his battles with the government”, he said.
His statement comes off as it seems DP Gachagua is done with Ruto with majority of sources claiming the Impeachment was secretly orchestrated by President William Ruto who wants DP Gachagua out of the government.
Potential replacement for DP Gachagua includes interior cabinet secretary Kithuri Kindiki, Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru, Land CS Alice Wahome, Kikuyu Constituency member of parliament Hon Kimani Ichungwah and many others.
On the other side, former vice-president Kalonzo Musyoka has castigated DP Gachagua’s Impeachment.
