Renowned vernacular presenter and emcee Benson Gathungu alias Muthee Kiengei presided over a traditional wedding ceremony on Saturday where retired President Uhuru Kenyatta’s mother Mama Nginga Kenyatta was among the guests.
Taking to his official Facebook account, Kiengei revealed that the colurful wedding was between Mr Ng’ang’a and Nyokabi Muhoho. Nyokabi Muhoho is related to the Kenyatta family and this explains Mama Ngina Kenyatta’s presence at the wedding.
Kiengei said it was a favour presiding over the prominent wedding and thanked the couple for giving him an opportunity to spice their ceremony.
” Call everything in my life FAVOUR….Thank you Mr Ng’ang’a and your wife Nyokabi Muhoho” Kiengei wrote. In the photos that he shared, Kiengei could be seen sharing a light moment with the retired President’s mother.
She was wearing her signature kitenge and looked all happy as she graced the memorable Kikuyu-themed traditional wedding. See photos of the wedding below.
