Well, barely hours after the CSs retreat, President William Ruto has finally clarified the roles of both Gachagua and Mudavadi, clearly showing who is more senior to the other.
Today, President William Ruto released an executive order, detailing the structure of his government. In his executive order number 1, Ruto clearly stated that Gachagua is the most senior to Musalia, retaining him to deputize the President in the execution of the President’s functions in accordance with Article 147 of the Constitution. Although Mudavadi’s position has also been placed directly under the president’s Office, Mudavadi is under both Ruto and Gachagua.
Musalia Mudavadi will be assisting the president and his deputy with their duties.
