Bad News To Ruto As Sifuna Reveals What Raila Told Them At A Meeting On Supporting Ruto On 2027

ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has said that Raila Odinga told them to prepare the party for the 2027 elections. According to Sifuna, this decision was supported by the ODM Central Committee. He made it clear that the party will not form a coalition with President Ruto’s UDA before the 2027 elections. He explained that ODM can only work with parties that share the same goals and are focused on protecting citizens.

Sifuna also addressed concerns about some ODM members who joined Ruto’s government. He said that these members are free to make their own political decisions, but they do not speak for ODM. He insisted that ODM has a clear stand on the upcoming elections.

He further dismissed threats against him for opposing the Inclusive Government. He said he is not afraid of being removed from his position. According to him, ODM’s focus is to stand firm with its values and not be influenced by leaders who oppress citizens. He maintained that ODM will only work with parties that align with its principles.
