The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party is grieving the loss of Judith Odira, a devoted branch official from Mombasa County.
Judith, widely known as Ajudo Password, passed away at Coast General Hospital after a short illness.
Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Sherrif Nassir paid tribute to Judith, describing her as a respected leader and grassroots mobilizer from Junda Ward.
“Mama Judith was not only a steady politician but also a passionate voice for the people of Junda. Her commitment to justice, women’s empowerment, and grassroots leadership made her a pillar within the community and a source of inspiration to many,” he stated.
The late Judith contested for the Member of County Assembly (MCA) seat for Junda Ward in both the 2017 and 2022 general elections. Though unsuccessful, she remained a visionary advocate for progress.
She will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to women’s rights, grassroots leadership, and the ideals of the ODM party.
The ODM party, her supporters, and the entire Junda community mourn a remarkable leader whose influence will not be forgotten.
As family, friends, and the ODM party mourn her passing, we pray for strength and comfort during this difficult time.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
