A big trouble is looming for the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and former Cabinet Secretary of Public Service Justin Muturi, after details emerges that the government is planning to use the ‘secret law’ to silence them ahead of 2027 general elections.
According to a latest report by Taifa Leo Newspaper today, the government is set to use the ‘secret law’ which requires public officers to keep the secrets of government in private, even after retiring or being fired from the government in order to silence Gachagua and Muturi.
Since the two are seemingly continuing with their outburst against President William Ruto, and key government institutions like the National Intelligence Service (NIS). The government is reportedly afraid that the two might end up exposing government secrets due to their disagreement with the president.
